When it comes to wellness offerings, many multifamily property owners and operators focus on the physical, like treadmills and weight rooms. However, the concept of wellness is shifting from physical fitness to holistic health.

In a recent ApartmentBuildings.com article, Lisa Kendall, CEO of LIVunLtd, part of The Amenity Collective’s portfolio of brands, said that wellness, as a multifamily amenity, should go beyond exercise equipment and provide environments and programming that also encompass mental health, social welfare and overall well-being.

Kendall explained that providing wellness amenities—including air-purification systems, meditation rooms or communal spaces—benefits residents, apartment owners and building managers.
