International construction and engineering powerhouse, Kiewit Corporation, will be opening a new office location in Grapevine this summer. There are other Kiewit offices in Coppell, Westlake and Fort Worth.
Public filings indicate the $2.3 million renovations began in late January and will be completed by early July. The new, 20,780-square-foot office will be located at 1785 Hwy. 26, Ste. 300, at the Silver Crossings development near Bass Pro.
Kiewit is a construction and design engineering firm founded by Peter Kiewit in the late 1800s. The Omaha-based company offers construction and engineering services throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada in markets such as water/wastewater, gas, chemical, power, building, mining, transportation and oil. Among the significant Texas projects completed by Kiewit; the $1 billion DFW Connector FM 2499, the $585 million DART Irving Orange Line Expansion and the Port Arthur refinery expansion.
