• SRS Real Estate Partners expanded its industrial services platform with six industry professionals across its Southern California and Phoenix offices. In Southern California, James deRegt joins SRS as SVP in the Newport Beach office. Formerly with Lee & Associates, deRegt has more than 30 years of industry experience. Joining deRegt from Lee & Associates, Nick Krakower has been named SVP and RJ Dumke is an associate. As EVP & managing principal, Jeffrey Garza Walker will lead the expansion of SRS’ industrial platform to Phoenix. Prior to SRS, Garza Walker was an executive managing director at NAI Global and also served in a corporate management role with APL Logistics, Ltd. Joining Garza Walker from NAI Horizon are Anna Sepic as SVP and Brenda Walker as senior client services associate.  
  • San Rafael-based nonprofit housing development and management organization EAH Housing appointed Jose Torres as director of business development for Southern California. Before joining EAH Housing, Torres held real estate development leadership positions for various nonprofit organizations across Los Angeles County and Orange County, including American Family Housing, U.S. VETS, SRO Housing, and A Community of Friends working to place low-income families, unhoused veterans, transition-age youth and other populations. 
  • Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its tenant representation brokerage services by hiring Shane Macedo as a senior director in San Diego. Joining from CBRE, where he worked for the past seven years, Macedo draws on a background in the strategic development and optimization of global commercial real estate portfolios for major clients in the healthcare, life sciences and medical device sectors. He has closed more than 350 transactions totaling $1.5 billion. 
  • Thomas James Homes (TJH), reportedly the largest replacement homebuilder in the country, appointed Kim Diamond as SVP of community development and relations for Southern California. In this newly developed role, Diamond will be responsible for the project management and oversight of the Pacific Palisades Rebuild Project within TJH’s Southern California division. She has held leadership roles with homebuilding companies including Pulte Homes, Trumark Urban, Catellus and Harvest Properties, in addition to experience managing her own homebuilding development and consulting business. 
  • John Cumbelich & Associates announced that Joseph W. Cumbelich has joined the firm as associate broker. He will specialize in project leasing, user representation and sourcing development opportunities for best-in-class commercial real estate clients throughout the Northern California marketplace. Cumbelich brings five years of successful sales experience at Salesforce in San Francisco where he developed software solutions in the financial services industry. 
  • TMC Financing, a leading SBA 504 lender, has added Andrew Erickson, SVP, business development officer, serving the Inland Empire. With more than a decade of experience in commercial lending and a strong background in the SBA 504 loan program, Erickson will play a key role in expanding TMC’s support for small business owners in the region. 
  • The Swig Company announced that 350 California, a 300,000-square-foot Class A office tower in San Francisco’s Financial District, has been recertified LEED Gold. 350 California earned this certification by ownership’s implementation of measurable and impactful strategies across key areas, including water conservation, energy efficiency, responsible materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Swig acquired the property, originally certified LEED Gold in 2014, two years ago. 
  • MacKenzie Realty Capital, Inc. has completed the $10-million equity raise for its Aurora at Green Valley development, a 72-unit luxury apartment community in Fairfield. The first residential units are scheduled for delivery in July. The company is now preparing to launch its second multifamily development offering, Blue Ridge at Suisun Valley, an 84-unit luxury community in one of the fastest-growing counties in California.  
  • SVA Architects recently joined The Whole Child and development partners for the grand opening of Safe Families Interim Housing and Support Services Center.  Located at 10951 Laurel Ave. in Santa Fe Springs, the development is part of a trio of housing communities on a five-acre “homeless to homeowner campus,” consisting of interim transitional housing by The Whole Child, intergenerational affordable apartments by The Richman Group and for-sale townhomes by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles.
