Two Trees Management said Henrybuilt, the luxury design company, has signed a new lease for the entire historic Stable Building, a standalone heritage frontage located at 16 Main St. in DUMBO. The lease will bring Henrybuilt and sister company Space Theory across the East River from their respective SoHo locations to share a retail space for the first time in New York.
“We’ve called SoHo home for nearly 20 years and plan to keep a presence in Manhattan in the long term, but DUMBO’s creative energy—and the Stable Building in particular—provide us with a unique opportunity to headquarter both Henrybuilt and our young sister company, Space Theory, on two floors of a single amazing building,” said Scott Hudson, CEO of Henrybuilt.
Originally constructed in 1906 and renovated by Two Trees in 2015, the two-story Stable Building spans 7,898 square feet across both spaces. Space Theory is expected to open late in the first quarter of 2025 on the ground floor, while Henrybuilt is expected to open in Q2 of 2025, taking the top floor.
